ABOUT ME
Licensed Professional Counselor & Founder of Sprouting Minds Counseling
Hi, I’m Gina Witte, LPC—a counselor, a mama, and someone who believes deeply in the power of play, connection and co-regulation. My passion is helping children and families understand what’s really going on beneath the surface of big behaviors—and giving them the tools they need to move forward with confidence and hope.
In my office, there’s no judgment—just a safe space for you and your child to be real, raw, and heard. I believe that you are the expert on your child, and therapy works best when it’s collaborative and rooted in trust.

MY APPROACH
Compassionate, Brain-Based Support for Children and Their Families
With experience in both outpatient and partial hospitalization settings, I’ve found that the most meaningful growth happens when we slow down, build relationships, and take a whole-family approach to healing.
I use a variety of techniques tailored to each client’s needs, including play therapy, expressive therapies (like art and sand tray), person-centered approaches, and systemic therapy. I also offer a 12-week Parent Coaching program, Raising Kids with Big, Baffling Behaviors, created by Robyn Gobbel—a favorite of mine for helping caregivers understand and respond to behavior through the lens of neuroscience.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me in all my everyday roles—mom, wife, friend, and neighbor—doing life right alongside you. I get the chaos and the beauty of parenting, and I’m here to support you through both.

What We Believe
Connection Comes First
Emotional safety and secure relationships are at the core of healing
Play Is Powerful
Through play and creative expression, children can explore and process emotions safely.
Behavior Is Communication
We look beneath the behavior to understand what’s really going on.
Families Need Support Too
When caregivers feel empowered, the whole family benefits.
